Question about 2006 Toyota Corolla

2006 Corolla back brakes make clunk sound when I put my foot on the brake pedal. Toyota dealer finds nothing wrong.

It sounds like your brake switch has shorted out.It also controls being able to get your car out of park as well.your foot has to be on the brake pedal to move the shifter and the switch is probably bad.

You probably have a stuck or misadjusted brake light switch. The brake light switch located under the dash next to the brake pedal lever.

It sounds like the rear shoes have come loose inside the drum. If this has happened it could cause serious damage and cause your brakes to lock up on you causing a wreck.

you need to blead the breaks starting at the rear pass side and work forward who ever installed the master cylinder did not do it bring it back to them and make them do it

What part is bad that is leaking? Sounds like you are getting air into the brake line and this will cause a problem with te pedal going to the floor

1st, is your foot on the brake? That's a safety feature, u must depress the brake pedal before u can shift out of park.
