Question about 1998 Chevrolet Prizm
I have a 1997 Plymouth Voyager, My horn didn't work, and my air bag light stays on in the car. It made me get a rejection sticker. Can someone tell what might be wrong and how to fix it. Thank You!
Hello, Just wanted everyone to know that if you have one of these vans and the air bag light is on and the horn and cruise dont work the clock spring in the sterring colum is the problem. Here is some good news for you because of the air bag this is a safety issue and it was recalled. The dealer has to fix this free of charge. Call your local chrysler dealer and have your Vin number ready and they should be able to fix it for you free of charge.

There is a electrical connection behind the steering wheel called a click spring. It is a series of wires wrapped up like that of a clock spring that cirlce around as you steer. This part is fairly easy to replace as the steering wheel deassembles very easily. The cost of the part is around 143.00 and is only avaliable at the dealership or maybe you can locate one at the salvage. My 2000 Voyager has the same issue as we speak.
