Means small evaporative emmisions leak. there is a vapor leak in the fuel system, either a bad or loose gas cap, cracked filler neck etc. id try the cap first, if not that you can fix yourself. a shop will pressurize the system with nitrogen and smoke and locate the leak in this manner. good luck

Most likely your gas cap has a small leak around the seal which in most cases is unnoticeable. This is a design flaw which usually affects these vehicles between 40-50k miles. An easy cheap remedy is to go to pep boys get a new cap (Stant #11825) for $8-10 install new cap you can either have the code reset or it will cycle through a couple of times with the fault corrected and erase/cancel itelf out. I hope this helps you let me know if you need any further assistance.

Are you one of those people who TOP OFF the tank when filling up?

When the EVAP recovery system soak with few ounce of gasoline......the trap vapor will take few days escape.

EVAP system is design to handle fuel vapor. Few ounce of gasoline can damage the fuel vapor recovery relay and decrease the service live of the recovery lines.

You can accelerate the process by locating the charcoal canister (near the nose of the car and same side as your gas filler door)

MOVE the car to outdoor.

Disconnect the EVAP line and let it air out by itself.

DO NOT introduce any heat source or fan to speed up the process.

Reconnect this EVAP hose and use a small amount of starting fluid at the intake manifold.

I will follow up.

06 Suzuki Verona has two upper oxygen sensors is

read your other ANON post first.
Double posted, an again , no engine stated.
is this the I-6, inline SIX? 2.5L

my wild guess is you get DTCs for bank 2, right?

example this? (this is farthest from crank pulley)
Trouble Code: P0050 2.5L I6
HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1
Number of Trips to Set Code: 2
Trouble Code Conditions:
HO2S-1 heater (bank 2) control circuit is open circuit.

I have code P1670

obscure. it is.... is not the Verona a Daewoo with a GM engine?
the lame duck?
The Evanda is also rebadged as the Suzuki Verona in North Americal and Chevrolet Epica in other markets.

fixing these cars is no fun, not at all.
there are 2 engines and ECU/PCM used to match (and DTC's)
so is it the daewoo in line 6?or GM Holden 4 cylinder, E-TECH 2.0L
when working on cars, drive line issues) first find out what is under the hood.?
Im sure you know Suzuki shut down in USA? right, and in Canada in 2014, no country stated, so i guess wildly....
im at alldata . com for 6 banger, engine.
no 1670.,it ends at 1668 (2.5L engine)
BTW1, P1xxx codes are factory codes. and can be unique.
P0xxx codes are USA basic codes. EPA/SAE/DOT codes.
P16 means computer output error.

my wild guess is your car has the 4 banger the GM holden engine.
and i dont have DTCs lists for the E-TECH

did you pull that code, or did autozoned.?
did you write i down correctly?

is your engine the L34?
as seen here

2004 suzuki verona emissions issue. Check engine light stays on. Shows no error codes, says mixture lean. Can you give a solution?.

A few things to check:
1. A bad intake manifold gasket
2. A missing O ring gasket between the air filter cover & the MAF sensor.
3. A dirty fuel filter.

What's the code? P0171 & P0174 would indicate a vacuum leak. P0171 could be the MAF sensor. Good luck, I'm still fixing all my Verona's annoying "quirks".

P1668 for 2005 suzuki verona

no question asked, just a number.
are you asking how to diagnose cars?
or want use to print out the 10 pages in FSM book on this?
why not get car serviced, we cant teach car service online.
we dont know what engine you have, there. 2.0L or 2.5L (matters)
sold in USA as Verona, others as Daewoo Evanda
on the 2.5L this code means
the ETC sensor wires fell off sensor (unplugged)
or they are shorted,(mangled)
or the SENSOR is bad, (not weak) bad, open or shorted inside.

the check engine light stays on if there is trouble codes in the computer it could just be a simple miss fire that triggered the check engine light to come on i would have a shop or auto parts store check the computer.
