Why don't LED tail lights work correctly?

Check the grounds first. But it is probably the relay module . Located behind the passenger side rear tire. It has 4 plugs going to it. Also check those plugs for corrosion.

Passenger side tail lamp not working. Reverse, turn, brake, and hazard do. Fuses all seem good. what do i check next?

I would start testing the wires for current that lead to that light. Start at the light and work your way back. Likely a broken wire somewhere

When I press the break only my passanger side tail light works. Is this a fuse problem?

Try replacing the passenger side tail light bulb.
Inside trunk, remove two black plastic nuts holding carpet liner in place on side where bulb is burnt out.
Pull back carpet, use a flat screwdriver to pop out the wiring. Remove three nuts using a small open-ended socket or pliers.
Pop out entire tail light assembly. Locate bulb to be replaced. Rotate 1/4 turn to remove from socket. Replace bulb and repeat in reverse order to reinstall.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck

2002 Toyota highlander passenger brake light not working

RE: 2002 Toyota Highlander 2.4cyl. 4X4 Base Model

I am a Certified Technician and have basic knowledge with electronics in electrical wiring. I searched the web and discovered this is a common problem.

I fixed the problem and it was a simple procedure... The problem is with the reverse light socket at the side with no brake light. This socket functions as a hub to direct current to the brake bulbs.

Remove reverse light socket and re-seat bulb. Check for loose or broken prongs. Replace if necessary.

Swap the reverse socket with the other side.

Four of these light will be the parking and brake lights. The other 2 are your reverse lights.

The order is REVERSE lights are the sockets CLOSEST to middle. (gas Door)
