The oil change meassage has to be reset manually. The service brake message may be an error in the prograogramming. You have to take it to dealer for reprogramming.

Sounds like a bad sensor check the wires to the oil sensor and on the brake booster one might have vibrated loose or be rubbing on something make sure theres no splits or fraying to wires finally you might want to take sensor out and check for dirt be sure to check all fluid levels as well if problem proceeds you may need to take it into a service garage and have a diagnostic done.

Brakes do not work in cold weather. brakes pedal will go right to the floor with out slowing down. i have to pump the brakes several times to slow down. i have had car in dealership for the past 5

Man, you've spent some money without isolating the problem. Throwing parts at a problem is never a way forward. The brakes not working when its cold? When you pump the brakes does the pedal become hard/normal in cold weather or at any time? What happens if you plug the booster hose and start up, is the pedal hard instantly? You say there is engine oil in the booster? how much? What mileage has it done and is the engine in good condition ie serviced? I know this sounds silly but you haven't really got to what the dealer is supposed to have done for your money. I find it difficult to believe there is no experienced tech who couldn't work this out. He should do things like clamp off the flexi lines to each wheel in turn and then in pairs then all together etc with proper brake hose clamps to see if that makes a difference. He should be leaving it out in the cold and seeing for himself what happens.
Did the shop go through this sort of process? Careful checks and process of elimination is what gets to the bottom of these faults.

How reset oil change light 2011 charger

Your vehicle is equipped with an engine oil change
indicator system. The "Oil Change Due" message will
flash in the EVIC display for approximately 10 seconds
after a single chime has sounded to indicate the next
scheduled oil change interval. The engine oil change
indicator system is duty cycle based, which means the
engine oil change interval may fluctuate dependent upon
your personal driving style.

Unless reset, this message will continue to display each
time you cycle the ignition to the ON/RUN position. To
turn off the message temporarily, press and release the
MENU button. To reset the oil change indicator system
(after performing the scheduled maintenance), perform
the following procedure:

1. Without pressing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE
START/STOP button and cycle the ignition to the ON/
RUN position (Do not start the engine.)

2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times
within 10 seconds.

3. Without pressing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE
START/STOP button once to return the ignition to the
OFF/LOCK position.

NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you
start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not
reset. If necessary, repeat this procedure.

How do you re-set oil mileage after changing oil in mini cooper?

If you do your own oil changes, this is a helpful tip to keep in mind. Typically, it is best to wait until your dealer maintenance service warranty expires, as an 'owner' reset could result in a missed oil change, particularly if the dealer checks the indicator it does not believe an oil change is due.

1. Locate the trip odometer button and depress and hold.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and partially turn into the first position.
3. Pay attention to the trip odometer to display the word 'RESET'.
4. Release the trip odometer button, then press & hold it again.
5. The 'RESET' message will flash.
6. Release the button, and then press & release again (once only)
7. The service interval is now reset to 10,000 miles

How to reset the change oil light on my 2002 bmw x5

Try this procedure and let me know if it does not work.

1. Ignition key in the "Off" or "0" position.

2. Press and hold the odometer button and turn the ignition key to the "Accessory" or "1" position.

3. Keep the odometer button pressed in until you see the following words in the display, "oil service", or "inspection" with "reset" or "re".

4. Press and hold down the odometer button again until "reset" or "re" flash.

5. While the display is flashing, press the odometer button again briefly but do not hold it down this time to reset the service interval indicator. After the display has shown a new service interval then "END SIA" should appear in the display for two seconds.

If the procedure fails the first time then repeat the procedure and it should clear the service interval indicator.

How do i clear the change engine oil soon message. It's a 2007 silverado.

The "Change Oil" message displayed on your Chevrolet Silverado's gauge cluster is part of the Oil Life Monitoring System, standard on many GM (General Motors) vehicles. The message appears when it's time for an oil-change; the interval is based on your driving habits (for example, it may appear more frequently if you engage in a lot of stop-and-go traffic). Once you change your Chevy's oil, the message will not disappear; the system must be reset. The process is a bit different between Chevy Silverado models.

  8. Step 3 Turn the ignition to position "A" (Lock/Off) once the light stops flashing (about 10 seconds).

Wrench light is on and odometer shows negative mileage

The negative number means the car should have had it's oil changed that many miles ago. Oil life starts at 100% for new oil & counts down every 10%. At 15% the display will always show, which means it's near time to change the oil.

usersteve83, your oil may have been changed but the timer not reset. Reset the timer as shown...
1. Turn ignition to the "ON" position. (do not start engine)
2. Press SEL/RESET repeatedly until the oil life indicator is displayed.
3. Press & hold the SEL/RESET for about 10 seconds until it blinks then let go of the button.
4. Press the SEL/RESET again for about 5 seconds or until the oil life indicator resets to 100%.

Wrench = Maintenance Minder: Symbol letter & number...
