How do the belts run on a 350 motor. - 1994 Chevrolet Caprice Classic

The correct way to do this is to replace the AC Compressor with a bypass pulley. That way the belt and the routing is the same.

Do a search on goggle and it will show you the correct routing for the belt. Just put your make, model and engine size in and you can see the routing. Hope this helps.

what year is it? it could be a sensor off from the belt braking. like the cam of crank sensor. or maybe even the high pressure oil pump.

i think they have an idler pulley to replace the ac, check it out at an autoparts store

try checking the belts adjustment first, adjust it if its loose, check the the belt width against your pulley , it could be that belt is wide enough thats why itshitting the pulley thats why it squecks, get a candle and slide it on your belts edge just enough to lubricate them, run the engine and check....

It has a TIMING BELT. Replace it. And replace anything else it runs on, pulleys, tensioner, ect. It it breaks it will destroy the engine.

Hello there.An easy way to see if its the belt is to spray a little water on the belt and if it clears up the belt is harden which usually happens in extreme heat.If you could find some belt dressing they call it if the water test does prove to stop noise will work or replacing the belt will cure the problem.Hope this helps you and have a great day..
