Question about 2002 Audi A4
I have a 2002 audi a4 1.8t.first off i just put a new engine in this car.my heat use to be great.car would be running for seconds and it would start blowing hott air.now im driving for miles and still blows cold air.i turn it off for five minutes and turn it back on and i get hott air.but thats highway driving.if im driving slower or i come to a stop,it changes to cold air again. what could it be? thank you in advance for any solutions to my problem
p.s. car has antifreeze and temp. gauge is at normal temp.
Most likely a air bubble in your system. get it up to temp open up your reservoir use something that will fit in the opening and put coolant into it rev engine up a bit until you see bubbles coming up. when you did the engine did you replace cooling system parts like t-stat or water pump? purging the system of air will take a little while good luck hope that helps
