Question about 1987 Toyota Supra
Reveals what is believed to be correct temp; then does not show reading (dead gauge). Have tried several things. Last tried to solder each lead directly to temp sending unit. Possible the unit is out and needs replacing?
Its eather the gauge or sending unit. On a single wire unit,if you ground the wire ,the gauge will max out. This means the unit is bad. I hope this helps.
