I have a Chevrolet cobalt and the left turn signal will not work the inside light on dash flashes fast. I have changed the light bulb still doesn't work.

Fast flashing usually indicates that one of the exterior bulbs isn't functioning. You've checked front and rear signal lights, right? If the bulb is good, it could be corrosion in the socket, bad ground, broken wire, etc.

Right blinker not working 1999 Buick park avenue

You'll need to find a wiring diagram an component location chart to check this out . Here is a diagnostic flow chart for trouble shooting this problem ! Do you know how to use a voltmeter ?
DEFINITION: This table diagnoses inoperative turn signals on one side. It assumes that the cornering lamps, hazard lamps, and turn signals on the other side all operate properly.

1

Did you perform the Exterior Lights System Check?
--
Go to Step 2 - yes
Go to Exterior Lights System Check - no

2

  1. Disconnect the turn signal flasher connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Place the turn signal switch in the appropriate position.
  4. Connect a DMM from the appropriate turn signal flasher connector cavity to ground:
?€¢
LH: cavity C (ORN)

?€¢
RH: cavity B (BLK)

Is the voltage within the specified range?
10-15 V
Go to Step 3 yes
Go to Step 5 no

3

Connect a fused jumper between the appropriate turn signal flasher connector cavities:
?€¢
LH: cavity C (ORN) to cavity D (YEL)

?€¢
RH: cavity B (BLK) to cavity F (TAN)

Do the appropriate turn lamps light without flashing?
--
Go to Step 4 yes
Go to Step 6 no

4

Replace the turn signal flasher. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement .
Is the repair complete?
--
Go to Exterior Lights System Check
--

5

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit:
?€¢
LH: CKT 57 (ORN) between S200 and the turn signal flasher

?€¢
RH: CKT 58 (BLK) between S201 and the turn signal flasher

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Is the repair complete?
--
Go to Exterior Lights System Check

6

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit between the turn signal flasher and the IP fuse block:
?€¢
LH: CKT 685 (YEL)

?€¢
RH: CKT 686 (TAN)

The dash board lights and internal lights on my 2002 Toyota Echo did not turn on while driving home tonight. Also, the left side turn signal is flashing rapidly. Is this a blown fuse and wear is it?

The first thing to do for your dash lights is to verify the fuses, if ok check your lights dimmer next. Sometimes, dimmers fail to provide good contact due to wear or poor filament contact. Otherwise, there is a poor connection somewhere.
Usually, a rapidly blinking turn signal is due to a burnt bulb on the side in question or a bad ground connection either in the front or the back of the vehicle. Turn the left signal on and check if front and back turn lights are on and working if one doesn't work check the bulb. If it is poorly lit and not blinking check the socket and ground connection.
Hope this helps you!

My left turn signal started to only work about 50% of the time, it wont work hardly at all now. the right turn signal is fine. When I try to use the left turn signal, there is no dash indicator lights

Hey Bob how's it going ? I have been looking at Chevy service info for your vehicle and this a little on the complex side or that is the way it sounds from the turn signal description !
Turn Signal Lamps
The smart flasher (GMSF) is an automotive flasher designed to accept turn, hazard, and brake inputs. The GMSF will provide corresponding outputs to the exterior lamps and instrument panel turn signal indicator lamps. This lighting system has dedicated lamps for the turn/hazard functions and dedicated lamps for the brake function. The system incorporates the use of flash rates for diagnostics. The flash rate is a calculation of the number of flashes that occur within a 60 second period. This system uses a percentage of on-time to off-time called duty cycle. For the bulb outage condition, the indicator of the vehicle side on which the outage occurs shall assume bulb outage flash rate mode. The opposite side indicator will assume the normal flash rate mode for an input from the non bulb outage side of the vehicle. Hazard warning lamp outage will maintain a normal flash rate as long as 2 or more exterior signaling lamps are functional. During all modes of operation, the IPC will receive the same flash rates and duty cycles that the exterior lamps receive. The IPC will then control the indicators in the cluster. The vehicle operator will be provided with an audible and visual indication of the flasher operation. Below is a table with flash rates and duty cycles:
Are all your bulbs good ?
Operating Condition
Flash Rate
Duty Cycle
Normal
75 to 105 flashes per minute
45% to 55%
Turn Signal Lamp Outage
2 or 3 times faster than normal flash rate
35% to 55%

Turn signal doesnt work

That could be anything from a blown bulb to a bad turn signal switch to a faulty turn signal flasher. A lot more information about the vehicle and the symptoms of the problem is needed to give you any better answer than that....ie..are the lights coming on and staying on and just not flashing? Are the lights not coming on at all (exterior as well as the interior indicators)? Left side? Right side?, Front? Rear?, etc...

Turn signal lights not working. turn on emergency flashers and the right signal flashes and bath back lights and the front right flash but the left front don't. any idea's

The 2 filament on the LH Front turn signal is most likely burned out, ...........or the ground to it, & the entire socket needs replaced. Caution lights, send signals to ALL FRONT & REAR lights. All turn signal lights must be in working order, as it is a "pulsating" currect surge sent to the bulbs, LH or RH, depending which direction you wisk to turn. If 1 filament is broken, the circuit is incomplete, & no flash will occur. Usually you will get one light that stays on, & the front or rear missing lighting, is the one whichis the culpret.

On my 98 jeep cherokee when connecting the tailgate replace kit I accidentally touch the yellow left turn wire, with the brown tail light wire. As result my left side on the 4 way exterior dim lights no...

If it happened the way you described it. I don't see how it could possibly have damaged anything. I guess what you are saying is that the left tail lights are not working? ("4 way exterior dim lights"???) Touching the tail light wire to the turn signal wire will only cause your turn signals to light up. (I am assuming that the tail light switch was on at the time)
I think it is more likely that the brown wire touched ground. This would make a bright flash, blow a fuse and cause the symptom you are describing...I think you need to check the fuse again.
There are separate fuses for the left and right sides. The left side tail lamp fuse is fuse #7 in the junction block it is a 10 Amp fuse. The junction block is located on the right cowl side inner panel - We are NOT talking about the Power Distribution Center under the hood.

All of the above is also assuming that we are talking about a plain Cherokee, Cherokee SE, Cherokee classic or Cherokee Limited.

If we are talking about any of the Grand Cherokees, you may have a fried lamp outage module.

When shift the lever to left turn signal it flashes faster than normal and to lighting side

that is to tell you that one of the exterior bulbs is not working-turn the key on, push the turnsignal lever so the left signal is activated, and get out and look at the front and back of the car to determine what bulb is out.

Rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit

My left indicator does not blink, it stays solid

I would start by checking the blinker light bulb on the left side front and or rear, some vehicles will blink real fast and some wont blink at all when a bulb goes bad.
