Mitsubishi montero sport signal light malfunction

My car has a signal malfunction. It only signals left and It wont come off. The right signal doesnt come on at all. The fuses are not burnt out.
I pulled out the fuse for it so it can stop that annoying clicking and blinking. what to do to resolve this?

I had the exact same thing happen to my '98 Montero Sport.... the entire lever assembly most likely needs replaced because a switch inside of it broke. That is if it's the same as mine was which it sounds exactly like it is. I had to get the part from Mitsubishi and it cost somewhere around $100. You get a whole new lever assembly and mine is working great now, feels a whole lot better than it has in years. In the meantime you can take out the turn signal fuse in the interior fusebox to stop the turn signals entirely until you can fix the problem. Good Luck!

1998 montero sport. Tail lights and dash lights do not work. Brake lights work, and dash lights flash with right turn signal. What is going on?

Your tail lights and brake lights are on a separate electrical circuit mainly because your brake lights need to be activated by the brake switch in your brake petal. Check the voltage regulation circuit in your dash light circuit to see what is faulty.

1997 mitsubishi montero right turn signal remains on

If the right turn signal stays lit at all times then there must be a short between the switch and the flasher or the flasher and the right side bulbs.

Left and right turn signals do not work. Hazard flashers work, turn signal fuse intact. where could the problem be?

Check the indicator switch, that seems to be all that is left in the system, except the flasher relay, depending on whether the vehicle uses the same one for the hazards or not.

My right turning signal in my 2002 Montero sport

Hi, this is a common problem and can be very annoying the only thing you need to do to solve this problem is to replace the arm you press when you want to make a turn left or right, what happens is that the switch inside wares then it sticks in the one possition you can sometimes get it off by pushing it in slightly as you try turning it to off position but failing that the only option you have is to get the whole indicator arm replaced. Their is no way of repairing these as they are a sealed unit, if you have any breakers yards near to you then you should be able to get one from their for next to nothing other than that you need to ring your local car spares shops and see what best price you can get

Left turn signal wont turn off and right one wont turn on.

You need to replace the blicker switch. The metal contact on your blinker switch is not being moved when you switch it over because its a little plastic bump that snapped off. You'll have to take the plastic molding around your steering column off before you do this. Most screws are behind plastic plugs in the molding that hide the screws.
