Changing the oil sensor on 1992 4.3L S-10

I am trying to change the oil sensor on my 1992 S-10 4.3L. I am running into a problem with how to remove the sensor. It is in a place where I cannot get a wrench or pliers with enough leverage to loosen it. Is there some special tool or trick?

First dealer was NOT doing you any justice. Next oil change run a can of GUNK engine flush let idle 5-10 mins then change Oil & Filter and use a good oil like Castrol or Valvoline 10w-30. You won't have "supposed" sludge build up.

It crancks but dont start it has gasoline, mybfrien changed the oil 1 week ago 10-40 is the kind that he used

The type of oil will not affect the cars ability to start, If the car ran fine before the oil change I expect a wire from a sensor or coil has been disturbed. I'd check under the hood for any loose or removed connections.
I hope this may have helped,

Oil pressure gauge shows low / high / middle changed sensor did

Hello mb4494: My name is Roger and I will help you. If by changing the oil pressure sending unit the problem did not change. I would perform a oil pressure test. This is done by removing the oil pressure sensor and inserting a oil pressure gauge. This can be done by yourself or by a repair shop. This needs to be done on a cold engine. Start the engine and observe the oil pressure the engine warms up observe the pressure. The pressure will drop off as the engine warms up.Should the oil pressure drop below 10 to 12 PSI. then you have internal engine trouble. More then likely a bearing problem. Try dropping the truck into gear and see what the pressure drops off to. Again if the pressure drops below 10 to 12 PSI. you have a problem. I would also check to make sure you have the correct oil switch. a truck with a oil light uses a oil pressure switch. with a gauge you would use a oil pressure sending unit. Sorry for the long reply but want to make sure you check the pressure correctly. Please rate the quality of the answer as this is how we know the answer was correct. Thank You for using Fix Ya.
