Transmission problem with 2005 CRV

23 or 24 miles an hour an extra grumble that you sort of sense not so much feel or hear, 47 48 miles an hour when car shifts to it's last torque converter lockout you can really feel a vibration and then when accelerate or decelerate it goes away. Is this a transmission problem.

How I can Fix P0741 Code - Toyota Corolla 2005

The code means your lockup clutch is not working. You're not going into top gear and the transmission is slipping. This burns the oil, and burns extra gas.

Change the solenoid if it's truly broken, and see if the transmission goes into lockup and clears the error code. If so you've saved a lot. But you need to change the oil, too.

Could be a transaxle Clutch Lock-Up problem,
not OD

TCC Shutter -- Torque Converter Clutch [-- Shutter

If that can be resolved with a new selonoid

Has to be diagnosed

Your light on the gas & in OD ,but the lock-up isn't

Hi everyone! Transmission question. I have a

You going to have to service the transmission more frequently like every 15,000 miles or every 6 months and add a remote transmission oil filter. In the mean time bring the CVR to a transmission shop and have the transmission serviced and have them to a transmission line pressure test. This will give an indication if there is a problem with the Transmission oil pump, Boost valve, and the EPC valve. All should be covered under the warranty, unless you have put that much miles on the CRV already. And yes letting your foot of the brakes before you let it go into gear will shorten your transmission's life. Good luck and keep me posted.

1996 Corolla Auto Transmission problem

Hi. 2005 Corolla CE. It's normal. They tend to do this when upshifting form 1st to 2nd gear. No timing chain readjustment needed.

96 Corolla. Overdrive not working properly, if not engaging after 45mph constantly. If driving on the city, is normal, but not after 45mph, when the car is trying to engage overdrive in order to save gas and preserve the trans gears. If not able to get help at the dealership, find another one and explain them the situation.
