Question about 1989 Chevrolet Suburban
Why want it start ?.
If you truck sits for a long period of time like more than 7 months and it ran before you parked it then months later you try to start it and it wont go you should drain your tank of gas after a certain period of time all the gas evaporates and what is left is water with a gas smell it wont ignite so if you have fuel spark and air it should start it is worth a try before you go on replacing parts like plugs wires ect. it happened to me

Turn the key to the start possition and listen for a small humming noise coming from the gas tank if there is one the fuel sending unit is ok if no sound even if you have gotten real close to gas tank and heard nothing then its the fuel sending unit ok
