Sometimes the dealer that sold the car new can get you another key with the documents that they have on file ( maybe) Next they can access the GM data and get it that way but you need your title your id and maybe as much is $400 TO GET THE RIGHT KEY THAT WAY. After quizzing the dealer on the phone ( the parts dept. is most likly to help you. Knowing their charges call around to different locksmiths to see if they can do it and how much they want. Some locksmiths don't do this kind of work

Lost keys 2005 mustang were the pin code

It would have been a tag on the original set of keys when the car was purchased new. If you can not locate it in the owners manual then I think you will be paying a locksmith.

I lost my ignition key to my 1995 Pontiac grand am Se. Will any 1995 ignition set sold on the internet fit my car?

Might fit but if your car is fitted with a passive immobiliser that uses a transponder embedded in the key don't expect it to start the engine until it has been coded.

I strongly suggest you have a chat with your local dealer or auto locksmith and gather some basic information before you spend any money.

lost the operators guide I see, like all post here ,same topic.
the dash warning are unique to all cars, all years, and all options.
sounds like you have SKIM, option ,
the operators guide said.
try both keys, car came with 2, lost that too> the spare fob set?
there are 2 lamps SKIS and SKIM.
the key logo means this :
the key transponder chip is bad in THIS key , try the other.
there are no batteries in the key, for this.
the battery fob only runs door lock, logic.

never run any jeep 1999 to now with only 1 key
use 3 keys, so you can make your own spares.
or pay big money later... for sure.

If i have my vin number can i find my key code to my lincoln mkz

No, you'll have to use one key to copy and get a duplicate. If you want a new fob, expect to pay a hefty price became without two keys the dealership will charge you an outrageous amount.

I lost my key and key fob for 2006 Chrysler 300 AWD, and I don't have a spare key or key fob

Ok, the path of least resistance for you is to call a mobile locksmith. Since you have lost all keys, expect to pay about $200-$300 for this service. This will be less expensive than getting a tow to a dealer.

I would also have the locksmith cut and program 2 keys for you so you don't have this problem in the future.

You have to be careful when choosing a locksmith. I would recommend using an ALOA (Associated Locksmiths of America) member because they are bound by a good code of ethics.

You might be able to save even more money by ordering the key and key fob from my company
We stock genuine oem key fob replacements, so you don't have to worry about cheap knock offs with us.

I damaged my remote control, and I can no longer set the alarm or open the doors except by the key. How can I get a new one and what should I expect to pay?

Around $60 to $80 bucks, at a Dealership, and that may or may not include programming the new one to your car. If it was really simple, car thieves would have a field day stealing cars!!

Where can i get replacement key for x type jaguar 2003

The answer from predzy is right about the ebay blanks, but expect to pay thrue the nose for the cutting and programing services. FYI most hardware stores are incapable to do lazer cut keys without special equiptment. Be careful and shop arount for prices, avoid the dealership on this one!!!

The driver door lock on my 2004 Grand Cherokee does not lock. Not manually, the key doesn't turn, and the Fob doesn't work. I know of another person with the same year make and model that has the same...

sounds like the actuator that locks it and unlocks it went dead. I would say u lost power to the actuator or the actuator itself is dead. Check your fuses first. It wont be cheap to fix, depending on where you go.
