Question about 1996 Lincoln Town Car
It does this every other time i try to start my car
i turns over but i dont hear the noise for the fuel
I'm not sure what model make or year you have, but I think you are referring to the noise made by the fuel pump when the key is turned on... ?
The fuel pump sends and pressurizes fuel through the fuel line. If you do not hear this noise, your fuel pump may need to be replaced. On most later model cars and trucks, this envolves dropping the gas tank, as most modern make car's fuel pumps are located on and connected to the top of the tank.
Take the gas cap off and have a good set of ears listen to the tank inlet as someone turns the key to on position... just to make sure.
