Your control module prob has gone bad the part below the coils its what the coils bolt to if that goes bad you wont get no spark bring that to t6he auto parts stor they can test it to see if its good or not if that is good it could be your crank trigger but most likely your control module

SOURCE: My 86 fiero wont start ? i check the coil no sprak

Could be a number of things. Check the distributor cap and rotor, check spark plug wires, check the actual spark plugs for worn or missing electrodes.

It also could be your distributor, but that needs to be checked out in a shop.

Have you checked the fuel? To start a car, it needs fuel + spark. Fuel pump working? Squirt starting fluid in the intake while trying to start it. If it starts for a second and dies, your problem is fuel delivery. If it doesnt, it's probably electrical.

1999 chevy blazer not starting

Check the plug wire from the ignition coil to the distributor cap.
If you haven't already, replace the distributor cap and rotor.
The GM Vortec's have issues with moisture getting inside the cap and rotor and causing problems.

Hi my jag xjr 4lrt wont start it has fuel supply it has a sprak it turns over but will not start any ideas ive been told it may be the imobiliser

It takes three things to make an engine run. Fuel, spark and air. If you have fuel and spark at the cylinder, there's no reason it should not start. One or the other is missing. The only way to tell if the fuel and spark are reaching the cylinder is to pull a spark plug. Try to start the engine then pull a plug. If you are getting fuel, the spark plug will be wet and smell of gasoline. If it's dry, no fuel is reaching the cylinder. Put the plug wire back on the spark plug and lay the plug down where you can observe it while cranking the starter. If you are getting spark, yo will see the voltage arc across the tip of the spark plug. Perform this test and find out which one is missing and then you can trace down the problem.

The last time i used my car was in late august and it ran fine. 2 months later i went to start it after not using it, and it did not turn over. the battery was recharded, fuel was put in it. Still no...

theres probably no sprak on it, try removing whichever spark plug cable and make contact with ground, see if it makes spark.. try this when u try to start the car only... if theres no spark, this means u need to replace the distruibitor..(where all the spark plug cables meet)

It don't fire no sprak

If there is no spark at any of the plugs, i would look at the crankshaft position sensor, if there is spark on 1&4only, or 2&3 only, there is a bad coil pack for the two common plugs/wires.
