SOURCE: How do I replace the front brake line on a 1991

you will need some line wrenches just follow the hose from the caliper and you will see it attaches to a metal line. first loosen the fitting and then remove the clip that holds it in. then remove it from the caliper , be a good idea to clean with brake clean first to prevent dirt contamination. after your done simply open the bleeder on the caliper and let all the air out. check the master reservoir and you should be good

The pins / wedges just tap out use a scewdriver on the metal edge of the pin just tap it out to the rear and when putting them back in just tap them back in from the front. You will see they are diamond shape and metal cased around rubber very easy to do just take your time.

How do i replace front brake hoses on 94 ford ranger

Here is a good forum to find your answer.

A few few things to remember: Purchase fresh new brake fluid and have a clean MityVac pump (both can be purchased through AutoZone, NAPA, Orielys, etc..) , plenty of clean rags, brake line clamps to stop the fluid from leaking when you initially pull the line off.
Be prepared to bleed ALL the brakes after changing the lines. When bleeding the brakes (after replacing the old lines) work from the caliper that is the longest distance from the brake master cylinder first to the shortest distance line.

Brake maintenance

It really depends on the type of driving you do most of. Highway miles very little wear, mostly city driving alot of wear.
Rule of thumb is usually front around 30,000 and rear around 50,000.
