Question about 1997 Chevrolet Malibu
My air was decently cold when i first bought the car.A few days later the compressor doesn't even kick in
You may have a leak in your ac system. its possible that the previous owner charged the ac to help sell the car. most newer cars have a sort of safety switch to protect the compressor from damage. if the ac pressure is too low, the compressor wont turn on. have a shop do a quick check of the pressure. it only takes a minute or so. if it is low, then thats definitely your problem. you will need to have the leak fixed and the ac recharged for it to work properly.
