There is what is called a low pressure switch in the system that will not allow the system to run unless there is a complete charge in the system, what is happening is that the system is "Short cycling" due to low pressure, you can purchase a re charge kit at the local Autozone or Pepboys and that will fix the problem.

2010 Lincoln MKS Heated Seat on driver's side stopped working (Light in button turns off on its' own)

The most common cause of this problem is that the drivers seat heater grid is open or burned out. That is based on 25 years as a Ford dealer technician.

My fan will not shut off when I shut the engine off

How long does it run? some cars will run the fan for a few minutes to ensure that too much heat does not build up under the hood. Wait for 5 minutes and see if it is still running when the engine is off. If it is you may have a bad temperature sensor. Does the engine temperature gauge work properly?

A/C only run cool about 2 minutes initially then runs warm. Turn off for several minutes, then will run cool initially again. Is repeatable.

Make sure the cooling fans come on. Check fuses and relays. Go after PCM wiring after that. Then the PCM.

Why does the cooling fan on my 2011 hyundai sante fe keep running after it is shut off, what is the problem?

If it stops after a few minutes, it is not a problem. only an attempt to cool down the engine.

How can I tell if the engine cooling fan is functioning properly?

The cooling fan is made to come on when the engine reaches a certain temperature. To give a simple and general test - turn the AC on high - it your AC and fan are both working correctly the fan should come on almost immediately. If not within very few minutes like 5 or 8.
Also at operating temperature the fan will run as well. In the early morning before you start the car open the hood - fill the radiator while the engine is still cold. start the engine and wait about 10 minutes or so. The fan should come on before the engine over heats. This may take up to 20 minutes and the fan is designed to run after the car is shut off IF - the temperature is hot enough.

Sounds like she is low on freon, Get a reusable can from a parts store and shoot a little bit in and re-check the operation.
