What do code 31-02 mean for my 2001 handa odossey

The OBD code P3102 means there is a "transmission control ECU malfunction".

You may be experiencing a hard shudder when you turn off the engine.

Possible causes could include: Faulty fuse or fuses, faulty wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor or a faulty Intake Manifold Flap Motor.

Your possible solutions could include: Check for blown fuses, check wiring and/or connector(s) to and from the Intake Manifold Flap Motor, check or replace the Intake Manifold Flap Motor. You can also perform an Output Test.

2008 vw jetta makes noise from blower

OK. The noise you are hearing is the recirculation flap motor. It could be what is causing the condensation. Easy way to check in after the noise has stopped push the recirculation button on the AC controls to see if the noise happens. If the motor is bad and the flap isn't closing you could be getting moisture from the outside air. As far as the check engine light goes there is no relation. 2 completely different systems. The flap motor would probably run you a couple hundred of dollars. The check engine light could be anything.

Hello, If you have a Traction control button on the dash, turn it off and the motor should smooth out. You should look at the ABS sensors and internal parts on the rear brake system.

There are several reasons for your problem. It can be any or all of these. The ABS system counts the turns on each wheel. If there is debris like a deteriorated Emergency brake lining, or dust in the rear wheels, the sensor gets confused and loses count.

When the counts do not match on all 4 wheels, the ABS engages to bring them to be equal. One way is by extra braking on the fastest spinning wheel. This can activate the Traction control feature.

The Traction control feature can CHOKE the air off the engine by activating a flap in the air intake nozzle around the Air cleaner. If you think this is happening you can very temporarily disconnect the Air Intake at the Air Horn allowing your engine to breathe dirty air. Keep all the electric connectors plugged in. The motor should now run smooth.

Most likely you have a shorted wire triggering the blown fuse or a bad ABS sensor. You can run the van with the ABS light on as long as the wheels turn freely.

Have a Suzuki Baleno 2002 and once in 2/3 days the engine loses power when in low gear but becomes ok in a few minutes . the engine check light does not go on,i have changed the plugs and the fuel filter...

I would try a good fuel system cleaner in the tank. Go to the auto store and purchase a can of spray throttle body cleaner. Remove the intake air tube open the throttle body flap and wash all the black gunk off of the flap and out of the intake system.

Engine light is on replaced oxygen sensors ,comp comes up bank 2 sensor one also says burning lean,

Try using brake parts cleaner and spraying around all vacuum lines on the engine and firewall, and spraying around the intake manifold gasket. You may have a vacuum leak or low fuel pressure causing it to run lean. An obvious leak will change the rpm's of the motor.

What does a imrc valve do on a 2008 dodge avenger

imrc = intake manifold runner control, the is a motor that controls ports in the intake, there are flaps that open more intake ports, they operate all together off the control. this is so the engine gets more air into cylinders and the computer richens the fuel for more power. i would check the linkage first, there are little plastic clips that break and cause the linkage to fall off, the dealer sells these clips there are about 2.00 dollars, this will make your check engine light come on and most tech will replace the whole thing instead of the clips, i would check it myself if i were you, or have a second shop check it,. hope this helps

AUDI A3 intake flag motor

I had the exact same problem. The check engine light would come on then go off. I didn't notice any drivabiltiy issues. End the end I had to replace the flapper motor, the high pressure fuel pump and the camshaft. They showed me the old parts and sure enough the camshaft lobe was worn down and the cam follower that actuates the fuel pump was in pieces. Needless to say it was very expensive. It's been a problem posted on many Audi sites. I went ahead and had the timing belt changed. Now she's as good as new.

97 chrysler concorde 3.5 bad accel off idle , ok on high end

check your air intake control switch: it is on the manifold and, is attached to a flap inside the intake; this switch's flap should be easily moved by the air from the aircleaner and, tells the engine computer that you have the right amount of air coming into the engine for fast acceleration if it fails the engine computer will not know the amount of air available to sustain rapid spark speed lastly check the installation of your air filter I have seen very dirty ones and, some inserted upsidedown there is an arrow that should point to the engine
