Question about 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Your cooling fan is probably not running at low speed. Park the car and turn on the AC. Open the hood and check if the radiator cooling fan is running. It should always run when the AC is ON. This is a 2 speeds fan, the slow speed turn on whenever the AC is on, the second speed engage just before the engine overheat. This is a common problem with PT cruisers, i just replaced mine.
