I suggest visiting the autozone.com website and register the car. It doesn't cost anything and you will have access to an online repair manual for the car. The vacuum diagrams should be available there. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Proper air intake vacum specs for 2003 impala 3.8

try the engine breather pipes for perished or cracked as this will cause the high idle ,vacumn on most engine types is around 15lbs well it was when i was at college 40+years ago ,high idle could be a vacumn pipe or the idle control valve ,but it could also be the temperature sensor not turning the autochoke off ,as for the coolant drop then perhaps this was caused by it not be topped up and the engine found its own level because even the head gasket was allowing water into the pistons i would still expect the idle to be ok ,problem for me here is iam a europeon mechanic whos never seen this car under the bonnet ,check for white smoke from exhaust in case the gasket is causing the water loss though ,if you need anymore help then post a answer to this as the technology is the same just the layout is different to a renault or a focus which iam more used to working on

Vacume hubs i am looking for the air leak need vacume diagram for a 05 f150 supercrew

IF this is a case that the IWEs will not disengage, it could be the IWE solenoid or the vacuum lines to the IWEs. Could also be a problem with the vent lines from the IWE ( the other vacuum line that runs up into the engine compartment, and just hangs there ).

This is the block diagram of the vacuum lines for the IWE ( not actual routing ). You can use a vacuum pump / gauge to see if the lines will hold vacuum. Don't be surprised if the vacuum lines test OK, there is a TSB on the IWE solenoid where it could ingest water, and allow water in the lines, which will not keep the IWE gears disengaged.

My 04 crown vic will not change off from defrost, indicator lights show floor and vent when pushed but air flow stays on defrost, it does have automatic climate control if that makes any difference

Check for vacum at the heater control ports behind the dash and for vacum leaks. For safty reasons the
system is designed to go to defrost mode in case you lose vacum to the system. Hope this helps.

Fan is okay on heater but no warm air coming out.

It sounds like the valve may be stuck or broken that provides heat to the core. First check your water/fluid level in your radiator. If that is full then you want to look for a valve that is occassionally vacum operatedon one of the two lines, about 1" in diameter, that run from teh radiator core to the Firewall. normally these are on teh Passenger side. Look at this valve and see if it is vacum operated or manually operated by a cable. If it is cable operated make sure the cable is actually working, if it is vacum operated make sure you can open and close it by hand and that you have vacum on the line. If vacum is present and you can operate it by hand then the valve itself is faulty. Same if you can't operate it by hand. If there is no vacum you have a vacum problem and most likely need to trace teh vacum line back to it's source and or replace it. The Haynes repair manual for your vehicle will be able to assist you further and provide pictures and diagrams of teh system to follow.
