That might be one of the reasons.A bad tps would cause a "fish bite"in the transmission from the torque convertor cycling.Inspect the water pump weap hole and see if its shows signs of leakage.

A guide How to set would be :-

Hope i helped you.

Cut off or a miss when excelration is it a sensor if so which one ??????

it has a throttle position sensor is right on the throttle body some trucks in this model came with electronic throttle is a two part throttle one is in the pedal the second in throttle body you have to use a scanner to find if it is the problem i had couple of experiences where the vacum lines next to the battery were broken they're made of hard plastic also look in the intake for cracked rubber hoses or spitted ends most likely that's the case hoping you find this helpful i thank you for your time

Location of MAP and TPS sensors on a Kia Forte Koup

i do nto know the exacts your mass air flow is eather in a big air duct between the air filter or its monted on the throttle body itself. the throttle possition sensor should be part of the throttle find you gas peddal cable right were it hooks to your throttle on the other side of the thottle should be your tps. has a pig tail.if your going to mess with it check on what the settings are first and wether you know how to use a muktimeter. most (knot all) are set whith a feeler gage and a multimeter.

My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee cuts off while driving

Sounds a whole lot like a dirty or malfuncitionig idle air control valve. A coil would generally show up as a miss under load or high rpm, crank sensors generally work or they dont, only sometimes giving you a miss, but that would be all the time at any rpm. Computer, I doubt for too many reasons to list. Could also be related to a bad throttle position sensor or a very slight vacuum leak.

Idles high on 1997 mitsubishi eclipse rs 5 speed

This is definitely a bad Idle Air Control motor. It is right below the throttle position sensor, and will cause the idle to run high if it sticks.

could be throttle positioning sensor,T.P.S.may be loose or defective,it must be ajusted perfectly because the computer adjusts the engine speed using this sensor when you are driving .good luck.
