If this is the kind with 4 holes in i, then you need to get the removal tools or use 4 nails or long screwdrivers all at same time and pull out the stereo.
If you do not have the holes, then you may have the kind that requires tools to slide in sides between stereo and bracket to loosen the hold. A butterknife sometimes works for this..

WHY IS THERE NO SPARK IN MY 2001 CHEVY SILVERADO 4.3L

This could be several things the first i would think it to be is the coil but if its not then it could be the distributor ignition pickup or the ignition control module or the crank sensor. My guess would be the coil.

I want to know if the stereo on my chevy silverado 2001 has a special code?

IF YOU SEE THE WORDS "THEFT" AND A RED LIGHT BLINKS THEN YES IT WILL REQUIRE A CODE ONLY IF YOU TRY TO PUT IT INTO ANOTHER CAR. IF YOU JUST UNPLUG IT, IT WILL STILL WORK WHEN RECONNECTED.

I have an 2001 chevy pickup. i just put a new mirror in

Did the mirror have a temperature read out before? All you should have to do is hook up the mirror to the connector and everything should work. There aren`t any separate hook ups.

Do you have to take dash out to replace heater core in 2001 chevy pickup

Yes you do. Not a quick job. If you have a center consol you will also need to remove the seats to remove the center consol, so you can remove the dash.

Transmission on my 2000 chevy k2500 4x4 pickup

your transmission has possibly been rebuilt with stronger springs put in. No worries. have been running mine for along while without any problems. Better this than slipping, but it is a bit annoying.

2004 Chevy Silverado factory Stereo, CD is stuck in player, sounds like it is trying to eject but won't!

I searched quick and couldn't really find anything on a manual eject button. Flip through the manual a little bit and see what it has about the radio. If all else fails and you aren't worried about possibly breaking the stock cd player, some skinny needle nose pliers should reach in far enough to grip the cd and you can pull it out. But there is a good chance you could break the cd player in doing so.
