I need a diagram for serpentine belt on v6 3800

there should be a white decal on the upper rad support that has the belt routing.some of these are on a white decal on a belt cover at the front of the motor covering the belt.if not and the belt is still on,then draw the routing on a piece of paper so you can re-install the belt correctly.if its off then see if were you get your belt from can get you the belt routing.

Im going to have to change my serpentine belt on a 96 buick park avenue. 3800 non supercharged. Looked at it yesterday and it looks like I have to unbolt motor mount to get the belt off? Is there an easier...

yes.that is the only way.You have to unbolt the motor mount. To replace the serpentine belt on a V6 3800 series non-supercharged motor, you must jack up the motor and remove a motor mount. Before going any further make sure that the factory belt diagram sticker is still somewhere under the hood; if not, make a detailed diagram of the path of the belt. You must then use a breaker bar with a socket (I believe 13/64") and pull it toward the front of the car to release the belt tensioner. Put the new belt on, tighten it, put the mount back on, and lower the jack. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

To replace the serpentine belt on a V6 3800 you must jack up the motor and remove a motor mount. You must then use a breaker bar with a socket (13/64") and pull it toward the front of the car to release the belt tensioner. Put the new belt on, tighten it, put the mount back on, and lower the jack.
Driving without a belt can cause the motor to overheat, will cut power steering, and will not recharge the battery, so you should probably get a tow
Good Luck
