1986 Plymouth Turismo Parts

I have a 1986 Plymouth Duster, (Turismo, Whatever you wanna call it) I would like to find replacement parts for it (body, interior) But the car seems to be long lost.

The closest thing I can find are the 86 Mustang parts.

Does anyone have a link to some aftermarket (or OEM) 1986 Plymouth Duster parts?

It locks up on a hill will not come out of park

The way to avoid this when parking the car on a hill is to apply the parking brake first, allow the car to settle in position by easing off the regular brakes, then put car in park. When it is time to go put the car in gear then release the parking brake. Let the parking brake do all the work. This problem is common to most cars with an automatic transmission. The weight of the car is pressing against the parking mechanism inside the transmission. Many folks have to resort to having a friend rock the car forwards and back to free up the parking mechanism.

My 1984 plymouth turismo will start but once I press the accelerator it cuts off. I just had a tune up and oil change

The next step would be the fuel filter. Usually when a vehicle will idle but stall on acceleration it is due to fuel starvation.

No firing contact to the spark plugs. Have already replaced brain box, coil pack an cam and crank sensors. Any suggestions?

Two things.
1. does your car have three seperate coils ontop of a module or is it all one piece? If it is the seperate coils you might wanna change the module that they mount to.
2. If its the all in one (magnavox) coil and you are sure all the parts you replaced are in working order then you might wanna have the timing chain checked. It may have broken and if the cam isn't turning you wont get spark.

1951 plymouth cranbrook 12 volt system conversion

Purchase a one wire (12 volt) alternator, and install it,and it uses one wire only, the out put wire to the battery from the back of the alternator. Then replace all lamps, and bulbs with 12 volt replacements.Disconnect the voltage regulator completely. The radio,if original, will need a voltage reducer, purchase a coil resister to put in line on the positive input to the radio. This coil resister will reduce the voltage to 7 volts, witch will be fine. The starter will work fine, leave it alone. All dash lights will have to be changed also,to 12 volt bulbs. You can find these replacement parts at any N A P A auto parts store. The resister is a part number irc 13,and the alternator will end in a sw,this means single wire.

1980 Plymouth Arrow buying

Body rusting seats, interior in disrepair. I bought this car in late 06 from a man whos father had owned the truck since new for 700.00 dollars to commute 150 miles every day. This has been one of the best running and driving trucks I have ever owned. I have owned two 1986 Mazda b2000 trucks which were great, but this one blows them away. I would LOVE to find replacement body parts, doors, fenders, hood, and bed, but I can't seem to locate any dealers. Any help would be
