Dash lights, parking lights & interior lights don't work

Had my power steering sensor changed, now my dash lights, parking lights and interior ( AC/Heater, shifter light) don't work. What could the problem be?

have you checked the fuese?? Especially the ACC (accesories) fuse. Also check the parking lamp fuse. There could be a chance that something was shorted out during the install of the sensor.

Somebody left a wire harness unplugged. Look under the dash around the steering column, find something dangling that will fit into something else dangling. Undangle by connecting.
Or:
Take it back to whomever changed the steering sensor, their bad!

is your taillight working when you turn on park lights? (even dash is not lit)
if not, check for fuse they are on same circuit. check fuse #21. instrument panel lighting. 10 amps.

if fuse is ok, you may need to remove dashboard and check for connection problems on its sockets.

as a note: if there is a dimmer switch and if it is short dash lights go out.

How do i dim all my interior lights with the headlights off in my 2011 dodge charger

There should be an adjustment knob just to the left of the steering column that will adjust the brightness of the dash lights. The problem you will have is the Dash lights only activate when the parking lights or headlights are on with the switch unless you have automatic running lights which will activate the dash lights when the running lights activate.

I have a 1996 dakota with no tail lights. The brake lights work. I think it may be a fuse, but I don't have a manual to see what fuse it may be,????

Why would it be a fuse?
You have front parking lights? Then no fuse

If it was a fuse ---would that fix it -- NO it wouldn't
Why do fuses blow?

Have you even removed the tail light housing & checked the bulbs,
or checked the sockets for ground or under truck for wiring
harness issues?

Don't need a manual to check all fuses under the dash &
in the box near brake booster

Need to replace the turn signal flasher. the dash lites & tail lights don't work.

It is located behind the fuse block on the driver's side. When you open the drivers door you can plainly see the fuse block. (marked "FUSES") Flasher is behind that. You have to get to it from under the dash. Take out panels under steering wheel. If you get your head down by the brake pedal you can see it.
When someone changed theirs, they took out the little bracket that holds it in and relocated it to a lower place - they clipped the flasher bracket onto the little access door closest to the emergency brake (on the panel that you have to take out). Luckily the wires were long enough to enable this, so if you have to change it again, it's a lot easier.

Actually, just wipe it off with a soft clean cloth. Shouldn't get too dirty, maybe dusty with road grime as the other parts of the interior.

Perhaps there is a problem with the circuit.

Headlights and door locks not working

Fuse is probably blown out. Replace fuses for respective functions. Find the fuse box: might be in engine near battery or below steering wheel. open top and check for blown fuses. Try replacing if blown fuses are found. If all fuses are OK then it is very unlikely that all the bulbs are blown.

Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.
