Check your brake fluid it is probably low. Top it off and you should be fine. The lights are set so that both come on when low on fluid.

SOURCE: Bleeding Brakes on a 2001 Silverado Z71

When bleeding brakes after the system has been opened for service (you didn't say if you were doing any work on the master cylinder) you should start with the farthest wheel away from the master cylinder, which is the righ rear. Fill the master cylinder, then have an assitant "pump up" the brake pedal. Tell them to hold it down firmly, then open the bleeder on the wheel cylinder(s). Do not release the brake pedal until you have closed the bleeder valve again. You'll know when the air is out - there won't be any more bubbles. Since this vehicle is 2001, this would be a great opportunity to flush the system. Just make sure you have enough brake fluid (DOT 3 or 4, depending on your vehicle). Good luck!

1996 Nissan Quest GXE model. Bleeded brakes. No parts replaced. Brake works normally. No drag. With ABS. Now, right rear wheel and left front wheel locks. left rear wheel and right front wheel turns...

you need to first adjust rear brakes per TSB in our file, 98-14=4 I think. (If you replaced or adjusted rear brakes)

Then bleed again, but you may need to loosen the pressure valve on the master cylinder, or apply very hard pressure on the dowm stroke with the front bleeder on the claiper open just slightly. You have to overcome the the valve spring in it as it is deisgned to send pressure to the rears before the fronts to allow the rears to engage at the same time as the fronts. It takes higher pressure on bleeding to over come.

Spilt in the rubber like piece located by the brakes

I am guessing that you are asking about a brake hose and have noticed the outer casing is splitting. If so, the cost of the brake hose are about $20.00 each and labor runs roughly 1 hour at what ever the shop rate is plus the cost of brake fluid. So if you were coming to my shop, it would cost just under $100.00 Usually if one is, it's a good idea to look at all of them. Should more than one need replacement, there is some overlap labor figured, only in the bleeding of the brakes.
Should there be some other item you have spotted in the braking system which is rubber, let me know and I'll try to address that issue.
