Question about 2001 BMW 325
When the key is turned off the both motor fans keep running even though the car is not hot and i haven't ran the a/c at all. As soon as I turn the car key on it stops and cycles on and off properly but the only way I can get it to shut off when engine is turned off is to pull the fans fuses
Faulty fan relay, little square box, costs an arm and a leg. Try the local automotive parts recycler, you can't get BWM parts at the junkyard :)
The little box is located, with teutonic efficiency, next to a bunch of little boxes just like it. Check your owner's manual or a shop manual for which one it is.
