It sounds like the evaporator canister is gone bad on the vehicle. It is usually mounted by the tank and has a vent tube coming from the tank to it and the canister doesn't seem to be working correctly.

Fuel tank problems

check to see if any normal tank vent lines are plugged up or disconnected ..some also have a fuel recirculation setup on them.. when its lower in fuel level the gas will bubble into the tank causing pressure buildup..

I have a 2000 nissan sentra and I drive it a while it shuts off seems almost like it's not getting fuel once it shuts off it won't start back up for ten min then it will turn over I changed fuel pump have...

When it shuts off and will not start, remove the gas filler cap and refit it then try starting it. If this fixes it replace the gas filler cap. They have a small pinhole vent in them that can get blocked. if so the engine draws fuel from the tank but there is no way for air to enter the tanks to replace it, there is a negative pressure in the tank and the fuel pump has to work harder to suck until it cannot do it. After a rest while, some air makes it into the tank and pressure normalizes so it can startup again. I knew an Audi 80 that did this and sucked so hard the tank crumpled up sort of like an implosion.

Fuel pressure problems. If I remove the fuel cap truck runs normal. I've replace just about everything. And still have problems with it.

Have you actually checked the fuel pressure with and without the gas cap? If you have a tank venting (EVAP) system problem (e.g. blocked vent on gas cap, plugged canister, or one of the two vent valves stuck shut), you can draw too high a vacuum on the tank which will cause a fuel starvation problem.

What causes my 2000 ford expedition to stall when the gas gauge drops below a quarter of a tank of gas?

The low fuel light is on but even after putting gas in my 1999 Expedition, the fuel gauge still shows low fuel. What is the problem? how much gas is in the tank?

First the problem is caused by a defective fuel level sending unit, that is located inside the gas tank, the gas tank must be removed to access the part for replacement. As to the how much fuel remains there is not way to know this.

Fault code p1450 inability of evaporative emmisins control system to bleed fuel tank what could this mean?

The purge valve is supposed to keep sucking vapor from the gas tank, through the charcoal canister, and it never works right.
A loose gas cap can not only cause it to flash a problem, but will also cause too lean of a mixture and harm the engine.
The purge valve system is prone to way too many leaks, and the consequence of not letting enough vent air into the gas tank, can be a collapsed tank or a blown fuel pump.
It is not worth the risk.
The easiest thing to do is vent the tank to the open air after the charcoal canister, as all boats, lawn mowers, etc., are, and all cars used to be. But then also plug the line going to the air intake, because otherwise it will be a leak and cause too lean of a mixture.
The purge valve is another bad idea that eventually is bound to have catastrophic results. Too many car engineers forget cars spend a decades in freezing cold, blistering heat, torrential rain, vibrations, etc.

1999 corvette. Code po442 comes up. Replaced gas

purge valve happens, but it's more on the rare side. The most common you have already fixed. I've seen the cross pipe between the two fuel tanks leak and also the lines on top of either tank and the evap line going from the tank to the engine. Also you should check the vent valve (the more I think about it the more I'd lean tword a vent valve). Now to get to that the car needs to be up in the air. You cannot get to it unless you get it up or you are really really skiny.
Good luck

Car will not start after refilling the gas tank on a 2003 Hyundai

sounds like you have a bad vent on your gas tank
next time try leaving your gas cap off after you fill and try and start then
if this works just drill a vent hole in the gas cap
or change the tank vent filter

What would cause low fuel pressure

A bad fuel pump causes low fuel pressure.

Consider replacing it. It is located in the fuel tank beneath the back seat.

Good luck.
