Unfortunately if you take this to a shop they can get into alot of trouble doing this for you. Some are controlled by the body control module and others are just simple circuits. Look at you seat belt female end and look for a harness that goes to it. If it's just 2 wires connect those two wires together to trick the system! You should always wear your seatbelt by the way.

How do you disable the seat belt chime

In the old days, before it became compulsory to wear seat belts, people would simply fit the seat belt into the catch and then sit on them.
To disable the chime, it would need to be located and then disconnected or alternatively be fooled into silence by by-passing the switches.

It would probably be more satisfactory to wear the belts.

2005 jaguar type-s. How can i disable the belt minder. The seatbelt alrm is making me crazy

To enable or disable the seat belt warning chime on your 2005 Jaguar Type S

1. Ensure the front passenger seat is unoccupied.

NOTE:

Steps two to five must be completed within 60 seconds.

2. Turn the ignition to the RUN position (do not start the engine).

3. Buckle the driver safety belt buckle and wait until the seat belt warning lamp extinguishes.

4. Unbuckle the driver safety belt buckle and wait until the seat belt warning lamp illuminates.

5. Repeat Steps three and four a further eight times.

6. When the driver safety belt buckle is unbuckled for the ninth time a single chime will be heard. The single chime is acknowledgement that the beltminder feature has been disabled.

The beltminder feature will be disabled until the above process (Steps one to six) are repeated. Upon repeating the process the beltminder feature will be reactivated

2007 HHR Radio and chimes not working

Check the radio fuse. As unusual as it seems, GM has started having the radio (even though not turned on) generate the chimes and turn signal sounds. If the radio fails, all the chimes fail too.

This applies to other vehicles besides the HHR. My 2003 Silverado had the door chimes fade down so I could barely hear them. The fix was to replace the radio (under warranty, fortunately...).

HOW DO YOU DISABLE THE SEAT BELT CHIME ON A 1997 MERCUTY SABLE WA

Q: Are you wearing your seat belt? Yes? No?

A: No.
Solution: Put on your seat belt!!!!!! Save a life!!!

A: Yes.
Soultion: There has to be a fuse either under the dash or under the hood that controlls the chime.
There is a switch in the seatbelt connecter that controlls the chime. It has either failed or the wireing that carried the signal to shut the chime off has been damaged.

Chime keeps going off

Have you tried fastening your seat belt?
If so, then you either have a short to your seatbelt switch, or a short to your door switch.
Check both connections for proper ground, and if that fails, then start to suspect a faulty seat belt relay or the relay chimer is faulty.
It is best to test these accordingly to the repair manuals instructions.
