You can aquire a manual on CD for under $20.00 at ebay motors it has electrical schematics vacuum diagrams and service procedures, I find them very useful.

Recommend you take by your favorite auto parts store. They may help with reading any error codes which will help diagnose any problems. It sounds like some of your sensors are not providing the proper information (data) to the Ecu (brain) to be able to control the idle fuel supply.
This sound silly, but look in the glovebox for a sticker with the code on it. Or in the manuals that came with the vehicle. It's a 5 digit number usually.
You will need to get in behind the Timing belt to do this
You might want to search this out online on a Honda forum. Or get the Honda Service Manual. Plan on this as an all day job.
If you are in there you might want to do a new timing belt job as well.
Be careful if you've never worked on engine timing - You have a 'Bad Day here, and it is a very BAD DAY'
have the auto transmission fluid level checked, if the fluid has never been changed i'd do that as these are classic trans fluid problems,don't leave it to long to do as could cause a mechanical prob then your into serious problems
Assuming this is a manual shift transmission then 5th has probaly melted due to no lube.5 th gear is smaller on the countershaft and does not dip into the sump as far.So it is the first to loose oil when trans is low.If this is a 5 speed auto like on the 04 up accords and odessy vans then clutches are most likely damaged.Either way you are gonna need transmission repair.Good luck!
You need to remove the internal door panel, then you can see the screw to remove the side mirror. Sometime you need to remove the glass before you can reach the screw.
Go to your local pepboys or a similar auto parts store and ask for a haynes manual for the vehicle you are working on. They are not more than 20 dollars in most cases and it will have lots of service information for the do-it-yourselfer.
