You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.
There is a fuse panel under the drivers side dash as well as one under the passenger side hood. It should tell you inside the cover what the fuses are for.
On a OBD I car the connector is under the hood on the drivers side near the strut tower. It will be in a plastic cap marked EEC-TEST and have two connectors one with a rectangular shape that has a sort of pointed side and 4-6 wires in it and then a single wire with a gray plastic end on it.
You are WRONG Guru!!!!!!! Elpachuko is right!! BUT, if your check engine light is on and you want to know why there is a way!! On the passenger side of the center console, underneath the dash, pull the carpet down, you should be right at the wiring going into the the back of the stereo,THERE IS A 4 PRONG PLUG THERE NOT PLUNGED INTO ANYTHING,IT ONLY HAS 2 WIRES GOING TO IT!! Plug a paper clip into the 2 wires and turn on the egnition! the check engine light will start flashing,a series of short flashes will be a single digit code, long fashes followed by short flashes will be a double digit code!! This also works to trouble shot your ABS system!!!
the fuse box should be under the dash on the driver side or in either end of the dash you would see a little handle. and your brake light switch is gonna be at the top of the brake pedal bar.
