Hi,
This is an indication of something having to do with your brakes. You need to check your brake pads incase they are worn out. If nothing wrong with it, then your car is likely getting too old....an you need to start ignoring some of those unnecessary warning lights....it happens when bmws exceed their "road life".
The owner's manual should have a key to all the dash warning lights, but i'm just going to guess it has something to do with an electronic traction control system.
