You need the serial # and reference # off the sticker on the radio. Call or visit Honda with VIN and ser #'s and they will provide the unlock code for you. It's the only way to get it, if you lost the original audio card that came with the vehicle new. Look in the glove box, or door jambs for the extra ID sticker that should have been installed at PDI when the vehicle was new. Occasionally techs put the wrong one there that actually has the unlock code on it. If not, it's easy number gathering without needing to remove the radio.

You'll need to take the vehicle to a Honda dealer and ask the service department to help you. Most likely you'll need your ID and a copy of the vehicle registration. They do this to protect you from radio theft. When they give you the code, be sure to write it down somewhere safe.

Need to reenter the radio code, it's normally located in the glove box or behind the radio itself, once found you should have about 3 tries to enter the code, if more attempts are needed, disconnect the neg battery cable for 5 minutes and retry.

the only way to radio code is to get radio s/n serial no# on the radio itself beacuse every car has its own unique code ive tried myself and this is how i know if you can try calling your dealer or any honda dealer and give them your s/n but some of them charge for this info,try and look through your manuals and make sure its not in the book

Try pressing the preset buttons numbers 1 and 6 and the same time and then turn the radio on. You will get two sets of 4 digit numbers(radio unit serial numbers). With those numbers, call the dealership and they should give you the radio code.

p0505 is directly related to the idle air control valve (sometimes called the rotary valve) i cant count how many of these i have replaced on hondas. It is located directly under the throttle body so it can be difficult to replace. I would recommend you having a professional replace this due to the difficulty of the valve removal
