Has the engine light come on yet?

when? all times. even going fast up hill?
if you see it only die just before stop signs?
that may be the EGR stuck open. (main EGR valve)
there are 50 other reasons.
can you save the stall easy with a fast acting right foot.?

The switch is located under the hood of the vehicle and is attached to the brake master cylinder and wired to the cruise control.

sounds like your idel motor/solenoid

this sounds like a motor mount is broken.

I would investigate a clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump. May just not be getting enough gas to go faster....

Don't forget to check the air filter. Dirty air filter will usually cause issues at lower speeds too but can't be ruled out.

Dismount, clean throtle body with throtle body cleaner or Nitro (and if you have chance, do basing setting for throtle body with tester)

remove plugs and check for carbon tracing . if found plugs and wires will fix problem

no. but a ticking IAC valve could, also if the iac driver in the pcm were bad it could cause the rpms t be too high as well
