1999 Sonata Front Panel

2000 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L MFI DOHC 4cyl the Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, behind dash, mounted above kick panel.

Register and log in, them go to technical info, then to service. Use the search. There is an exploded view showing the screw locations. There are also some snaps that can be pried with a wide screwdriver. Good luck! (it comes off pretty easily)

If memory serves, 2 screws on the left edge facing the striker, 2 screws on the front edge facing the headlight, 2 screws on the bottom edge, 1 screw behind the door handle cover, 1 or 2 under the arm rest, and don't forget to remove the quad cover at the front edge of the window so you don't break it taking off the panel.

I was wrong about the distributor being round (I was thinking about my other car). I found variations about the firing order but after troubbleshooting, varified the plug wiring order from the front of the car is 1 - 4 - 5 - 2 - 3 - 6 not 1 - 4 - 5 - 2 - 6 - 3 found on several web sites. From the front of the car looking at the engine, the back three cylinders by the firewall going from left to right are 1, 3, 5. The front three are 2, 4 & 6.

YOU MUST HAVE A SHORTED RELAY FIND IT AND REPLACE IT

if all screws is taken out then only the clips is holding it there for there is a plastic tool available at your local spares shop.this tool must be pushed in between the panel and door.it will sound like something is breaking when panel comes of but that is normal.extra clips is availible at your spares shop

dear friend-this is a tricky one but it works,roll the window down.remove the outside strip.push the widow aside and look inside for the door lock,take a piece of wire and make a hook on one,use the hook to unlock vehicle.

I have a1999 Hyundai Sonata Headlights wont come on. Is this in the fuse panel under dash?
