I am getting a no bus message on my 99 dodge van

the info bus is down try unpluggin the crank sensor on the right side of the transmission see if no bus goes away al see computer cause this issue

No bus message on the instrument cluster mean's there is a serial data bus problem . All the module's (computers) on your vehicle are connected on the CCD data network . They share information on the network . A shorted bus wire , a module malfunctioning an bring down the network can cause modules not to send and receive data which would cause a no start .

A no BUS signal is a sure give away that your computer has an internal failure and needs to be replaced with a new or re-manufacterd one. This is a common problem with Chrysler still today on there newer models.

The bus system is the high speed info network the computers use to exchange data. changing plugs and things wont help. you need to get dodge or a good mechanic to diagnose your fault with a scan tool

try unplugging the crank sensor that is located in the bell housing of the transmission,on top of the bell housing,when these go bad they pull everything to ground including the bus communication,if you unplug it and the message goes away,replace the sensor,hope this helps

99 durango no fuel pressure or gauges and says no bus in the odometer window

I had the same issue with my dodge caravan and after several attempts by the dealer to fix it, it turned out to be a broken wire. They replaced the relay and it would work for a while and then go blank again. Have the wires checked thoroughly.

The code U1120 on DODGE,JEEP.CHRYSLER, PLYMOUTH.

The Defenition for this code is ; Lost Wheel Speed message.

Is related to a loss of speed comunication on the ABS Module.
And the ECM. Over the CAN C BUS.

Possible Causes. Can c bus, Open circuit or shorted.
Anti-lock Brake Module. Damaged. normally this happend when the car had an Accident. and is scrached.
On Rare Cases the ECM defective or desprogramed.
And some times Come As a Result of giving jump cables to start the Vehicle.
