Valosity floor fan no power to motor

Power goes in to on and off switch but doesn't come out to fan and has sealed on and off switch

Bypass switch with wire to motor. If motor turns you know it just switch to replace.

if you are getting power at the fan plug, it is possible that the recycled motor is bad.

I had the same problem with mine. I just a ran a power wire from mine straight to the battery with a fusible link 30 amp. Havent had any problems since and its just been about a year now. Hope that helps

Sounds like one of your BIG fuses under the hood or a relay has bgit the dust.

you need to look at the blower motor resister some times when they burn out it jumps to the other terminals

The fuse for the blower motor should be a 30amp marked number nine in the box near the steering column.
The fan switch and resistor provide the ground circuit.

My car doesn't start


disconnect the fans
the wiring can't handle the power required to run fans.
then pull the fuse where you hooked the fans.
look at this circuit to see where it goes because something
may have been damaged.
if the fan is on check the A/C and defrost controls. The controls
turn the fan on hard so they will appear not to shut off. Turning them off will require removing the under hood relay or fuse.

I have a 1995 nissan altima.I changed the motor on it twice .The third motor I got from a 2000 altima ,same motor different year. Anyhow when running the motor,if I plug in the fan switch the fans will not...


You have quite a situation. It sounds as though the Coolant Temperature Sensor is faulty. That sensor will control the temp gauge in the dash as well as control the cooling fans when necessary. As to why the fans are constantly running whether the switch is on or not would mean that there is power to the fans bypassing switch, possibly from another connection in the harness. First off I would try replacing the fan relay, it may be stuck closed, just switch it out with another of the same type connection from the fuse box to see if there is any change. If that doesn't work then I would check to see if the wiring from the coolant temp sensor and the fan switch run through the same area of the harness. Its possible that you may have a short circuit at that point. That may possibly explain why the gauge is reading hot when the motor in fact is not. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Lets take a look at the relay first. This is a device that takes a small amount of voltage (computer signal), and passes it off (through a magnetically induced switch) to a higher voltage- like a relay race.
The circuit would consist of a power source (battery), wiring, a switching device (sensor and computer), relay, fan, and ground. According to the trouble code, the indication is that something along this circuit is defective or malfunctioning.
For a do-it-yourself diagnosis, first you wanna check the fan to see if it can free spin. This will confirm that it isn't siezed. Next you wanna start the vehicle, and let the temp gauge go to halfway. The fan should activate. If it doesn't, turn on the a/c. If this cuts the fan on, then the relay is working. If it doesn't suspect a faulty fan relay. In the event that the a/c does cut the fan on, then suspect a faulty coolant temp/fan switch.

OVERHEATING


1st make sure the radiator is full/// check the cap make sure the seal is good no cracks
2nd make sure the fan comes on/// when the engine is up to temp the fan will come on
3rd make sure the thermostat is working/// watch to make sure the water is circulating

if the radiator is full and the fan doesn't come on you need a temp censor switch
if full and fan comes on you might have a blown head gasket or cracked head

the problem is the blower fan. it is either the resistor or the fan blower itself. check for power at fan, if power check fan resistor. if these check out ok, then it is in the switch.

I presume you are talking about the blower motor and not the cooling fan on the engine?

If you have checked the fuse then ensure there is power at the blower motor when switched on.

ok first u could have a leaking tappet cover that the oil goes on the hot pipes
with the fan u might need a new thermostat sensor ur one sounds buggerd so it cant read hot to turn the fan on

so look for any leaking oil any were
