How do I make my low tire light go out? I have had sensors changed, tires changed and aired up. have had reset several times, but light still stays on. how can I make it stay off?

Small piece of black electrical tape carefully located is the easy way, or if you like a challenge you could remove the offensive bulb.

Mitsubishi diamante 2003, changed two o2 sensors, still hesitates at start specially when warm

there should be 4 sensors in the system two are normal O2 sensors that are located after the cat converter and two are heated sensors HO2S sensors located before the cat converter. Use the special sensor removal/installer tool so that the wires are not damaged . If you only replace d 2 sensors then you may have missed the faulty unit. The check engine light will stay on until you reset it with a scanner

Problem with the 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor Reset tire pressure sensor how can i reset?

this light will go out after you inflate the tires to the proper pressure, make sure to check the spare tire also as sometimes they may have a sensor on them too.after all tires are set you may need to drive a few miles to reset the light. if the light remains on then you may have a bad sensor and will have to go and have each sensor tested with a tpms tool. the manufactor lists 10min of driving after setting all tire pressures even the spare tire and then light will go out. good day.

How do I replace the oxygen sensors in my 2003 Mitsubishi Galant? Does the car need to be on a lift? Where are they located? Any special tools? What resets the check engine light? Ant thoughts on what...

If you have a 4 cylinder, all sensors can be accessed from the ground. They are mounted above and below the exhaust manifold, in plain sight.

If you have a V6, the bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 can be accessed from the ground, they are located at the top of each exhaust manifold. Both sensor 2's (the ones after the catalytic converters) must be accessed with the vehicle lifted.

To change the sensors out, a proper O2 sensor socket is desirable. If one is not available, the sensor nut is 22mm, but you may have difficulty getting a wrench to work in the limited space available.

I only recommend genuine Mitsubishi/Denso sensors, as they are just plain more reliable. If you do buy aftermarket, be sure they are complete sensors, not cut and splice sensors.

You can unhook the negative battery cable for 5 minutes to reset the light, or use a scantool (Autozone and similar will often reset your light for free).

2000 mitsubishi galant

If you have changed out the parts and still get the codes you probably need to have the ECM reset. The dealer can do that for you or a repair shop that has the scan tool.
