Problem for Chevrolet Cars

I have a 1993 c1500, it had a v6/l460e we swapped w/ "88 k1500 - 350/700r4. Motor running good tranny too,But the speedometer/odometer aren't working. Help! The ol' lady's worried I'm gonna get a ticket. Any thoughts/help appreciated. thx

Slide under the vehicle and see if the cable to the speedo gear was re-installed. It may just be hanging there. If it is not a cable make sure you plugged in the connector to the speed sensor.
