My brake lites are intermittent. It seems to be the switch on the brake pedal. How is it replaced or can I lubricate it? I thought it might be sticking.

I have headlights and running lites, press brake pedal, no brake lites

Pull on your parking lights to see if they come on in the back.If the parking lights work and you still don't have brake lights then I would try replacing the brake switch and check all of your fuses just to eliminate any question of it being a fuse. The brake switch is located under the dash attached to the brake pedal. Also check the bulbs to also eliminate them.it sounds like your brake switch is bad.

Brake lights do not go off when car is off

may have a bad brake lite switch, its located on bracket that holds brake pedal arm that you step on to stop car, look toward top of pedal you will see a switch that the pedal arm hits when its released, if you unplug that switch and lights go out then the brake light switch is your problem, replace it. hope this helps.

Tail light out replaced both brake & tail lite bulbs nothing

It sounds like your brake light switch is out.  It's located on the brake pedal and is relatively easy and cheap to replace.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!
