Broken sunroof. on one side (left) for a: 1993 vw passat cl

Broken sunroof. on one side (left) the bit dosent move as if it isnt connected the other side workes but can't work because of the other side (it seams both sides should work) .ps: this is for a vw passat cl 2.0l estate 1993

Each side of the sunroof has a cable. Over time, the track gets dirty and the mechanism sticks, which causes the cable to break. Continuing to use the sunroof will cause additional components to break. Repair involves removing the headliner. I spent $700+ to get mine repaired, which involved spending about $400 on special order replacement parts. Sunroof repair is fairly specialized and not something that the average Joe is going to be able to figure out.

Whay does my floor board in a VW passat, get soaking wet after rain or even when i go through the car wash. But only on th driver side. The water poors out from the pedals.

Dies car have a sunroof? If so, sunroof drain is clogged and backing up into car.

1993 vw passat intermittant no start

If you take loose the air box lid you may find that the injection control plate that has to move to give it fuel may have moved just enough to make it stick and can't move so it can get fuel. This also happened to me with my 93 Passat.

The main control switch on the driver door may need replacing, first check and see if the wires to the passenger control on the main switch is properly connected

I have a VW passat B5 2001. (sunroof slide panel)

thats the only way i am a vw tech and have had to change this there is no other way the sunroof assembly needs to come out to do this properly

cruise control works when speed is up to 60 km/hr. it's very easy. switch on it on the left side of wheel and that's it. to speed up you maust move it an left side and to speed down you maust move it on the right

Go to the library and find the Manuel you need and photo copy it .or if you have a smart phone (goto how do I fix my vw year make and problem.and will have some thing there for shure.
