If it's the inspection light I've had my local dealer reset it (it's some weird combo of the dash button and key settings) for free... only took them about a minute. If it's a check engine light any local auto parts store (autozone etc) can generally check the codes & clear them for you. Also at these places you can get your own code reader from probably $50-$150.
