1994 Lexus ES300 large cloud of smoke when the car is started. Also, drove for several miles on the freeway then parked. When the car started, no smoke until I hit the first stoplight, while idling it was smoking really bad. Excessive oil residue from the valve cover breather to the intake. Uses 1qt about every 150 miles (some due to oil leak from crankshaft oil seal between engine and tranny.) No other noticable smoke other than those times. When I changed the plugs #1 and 3 had excessive carbon build up. Motor is 1MZFE. Coolant level stays the same and none in the oil. No starting or driving issues.

Finally after almost replacing the engine I found the problem and fixed it. I was talking to a mechanic who told me with the mileage on the car (about 150K) valve stem seals shouldn't be leaking. He told me to disconnect the hose between the top of the valve cover and the air intake and see if the smoking went away. It did. The problem ended up being the valve covers were packed with sludge which caused oil to be sucked into the air intake through that tube. That tube is the crankcase vent tube. I took the valve covers off, soaked in degreaser and then pressure washed them. Fixed the problem.
Toyota was actually sued for excessive engine sludge in this particular motor in the late 90's. This engine sludge worked it's way into the valve cover vents. Oil would get trapped in the sludge and then siphoned oil into the intake which caused the motor to appear to burn oil. Once that was repaired oil consumption dropped to almost none.

Valve stem seals can cause this problem, but normally only when first started. Oil in the rocker cover seaps through the oil seals into the cylinders and is burnt up on start up.
Try a "STOP A LEAK" additive and it may reduce the oil consumption and smoke.
I found some on e-bay and it worked on my tired old escort. It even stopped the rattling tappets.

1994 Lexus ES300 overheats after a few miles and water pours out of the radiator coolant reserve tank. Radiator rebuilt 6 months ago. New radiator hoses and other water hoses within last year. Please...

a cracked block or bad gasket can result in compression bleeding into your cooling jacket causing the symptom you describe. a good shop has a tester to determine if there is compression residue in your coolant. that would be a place to start.

When I start my 2003 ES300 smoke comes out the exhaust

The same thing happened to my 2003 ES300 - the smoke is coming from the oil seeping into the motor's cylinders. This is the classic "Oil Gelling" problem in Toyota and Lexus vehicles. There is a factory recall on it, but it only covers to 2002 ES300 not 2003. The Lexus dealer confirmed my "oil gel" problem and went to bat for me with Lexus - they got the repair approved - Thank you Mr Local Lexus Dealer! The cost was nearly $4,000 - paid for by Lexus.

Alot ofwhite smoke coming from tail pipe

Have you overheated or are loosing coolant? If not check to see if your transmission has a vacuum hose going to it. (if coolant you can smell it in the exhaust)
I don't think you have the trans hook up but can't remember.
