Starter keeps turning and car will not crank.

I've had my 2006 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5L for almost a year now and sometimes when i got to crank it up the starter will try to crank but the car will not. But when i give it a little bit of gas while trying to start it then it cranks right up. I told the dealership that keeps it serviced for me what was happening and when I picked it up they said they could detect a problem. So if anyone has a solution to this problem. It would be greatly appreciated.

Have you replaced the fuel filter recently? If you haven't it could have enough restriction in it that it's not building fuel pressure properly. The fuel filter need's to be replaced about every 15k at least.I've seen fuel pumps burn up due to filter not being replaced.

Have a 2006 pontiac g6 leaking oil above starter where is it coming from?

I always buy a service manual from advance or some parts supplier for every vehicle I own, that way the manual tells me how the parts are mounted to the motor and their location to the rest of the motor.
I am not sure where the starter is located on a Pontiac G6 but look above it if you have to use a flashlight, if your oil filter is near it, make sure it is tight and not loose.
Sometimes valve pan gaskets leak and run down the side of motor making us believe oil is coming from another place, just start looking and you will find it.

Remote start will not let car start

The remote start won't keep the car from starting.

If you have a check engine light on currently, that will not allow the remote start to function at all.
