Nothing when the key is turned

About every 30 days my 91 Park Ave will not start. Wait anywhere from 5 min to 36 hours then it starts fine. No click, nothing. Radio, windows, AC run fine. Have new battery, cables, starter, alternator. Ignitition tested - fine. No fuel problems. 3 different shops have looked at it. 4 years ago had a $.95 resistor looking thing replaced. Ran fine until this Memorial Day. Has died 6 times since. Other than a stick of TNT what do you suggest.

Will not start (electrical) first time did not start for 36 hours, then started fine, drove 300 miles, did not start, 24 hours later started again, drove less than 5 miles, did not start. 24 hours later...

Many things could be your problem but i would say your coverter is stopping up, or ECM "computer" need's reset., You can do this yourself by turning the key to on position turn on a/c then disconnect battery cable " POSITIVE" wait 30 sec. turn key off and connect battery back, Good luck hope this helps some but it could really be many different things.

I have a 2001 saturn sc1 that is having intermittent starting problems. At times after its been driven ill go out to leave again and it won't start. No clicking when I try and start it either. Wait for...

I am having the same problem. did you figure out what was wrong with yours. I have tested all of the wires in the harness under the dash, they r fine. I pulled off the starter and had it tested; O'rilies said it was fine. It is a 5 speed, and I can push start the car just fine any time. Like yours, some days my car starts, some days it doesn't. The days it starts, it runs fine with no problems starting or running. the problem is the days that it wont start.

02 Park Ave, Need to know how to program new key to ignition.

Take the original key, if you have it. Start the car, kill the car then start it with the new key. This will work for adding a key. If you are replacing a lost key then you will have to learn it to the theft system.Place the key in the ignition, turn it to run for 10 min. Cycle it off then back to run for 10 min. Cycle it off then back to run for 10 moer minutes. When the 30 minutes is up turn it off then try to start it. Thai should work. I have had to do it more than once. Good Luck

1994 Buick Park Ave won't start

The security system will keep it from turning over on that model. You need to try a 30 minute theft learn. Follow these instructions closely. Try to start the car, then leave the key on for 10 min. Turn the key off, 2 or 3 seconds. Turn the key back on, do not try to start the car this time, leave the key on for 10 min. Turn the key off again, turn it back to run, do not try to start it again, leave it for 10 more minutes. Then turn it off, and then try to crank it. If it is a security problem and it is not the ignition damaged it will crank. Good Luck. Mike From Texas.

Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon 2000 wont restart when warm or after running

I have a 1999 Saab 9-5. I had a similiar problem. The car would always run cold. It would get hot and the engine would quit. It could be anywhere. One mile from start to 50 miles from start. Once it cooled down it would re-start but the cool down time was always different. Only difference for me was my car would crank, just not run. Replaced the crank position sensor ($60), no more problems! Good luck!
