Same as above, need code to reactivate audio after changing battery

First check voltage on your battery with a multimeter a fully charged batt should be 12.6 bolts . Disconnect the battery from the car check voltage, second tyical voltage regulator maintain voltage between 13.5 and 15.5 . 15 when cold and 13 when hot. The regulator allows higher voltage to force electrons into you batt. If batt voltage is under12volts change batt. Is your regulator does not maintain 13 or above change alternator or alt regulator. It could be that a code needs to be entered to reactivate your radio. It is common nowadays, to encode all car audio devices so that if they are stolen, they will be of little value to the thief who will have difficulty selling them.There should be a code somewhere on the vehicles paperwork that includes such a code . It may be that , if your vehicle had a previous owner, they may know it. Also, many car audio installers can crack the code of a particular unit

That year has not been made yet and we wil be dead if and when it is. 2006 trailblazer could be fuel pump, do a fuel pressure test. CKP sensor scan for rpm, check for codes. Does it crank fast or slow? Try taking a hammer and hit the bottom of the fuel tank while someone turns th key and makes it crank. If it starts replace the fuel pump. See if it is getting spark at plugs by taking a screwdriver and insert in plug wire after you remove from plug and hold just enough away from a metal bracket and have someone turn the key to start and see if you have spark. Do not touch metal part of screwdriver.

If the radio is a factory fitted unit you will have to supply the vin number of the car along with proof of ownership to the vehicle dealer and they will have it on record. If it is an after market unit then may a radio techi will be able to help. If you have the owners hand book it may be written in there or in the warranty section

you need to enter a code using the preset buttons if you are lucky there is a sticker on the side of the glove box door with the 5-6 digit number or it will be written in the manual that came with the car

Code is located on the back side of the radio.

normally a four digit code if you have the original books ith car and the same radio fitted should be a code in the book to reactivate radio after you reconnect you battery small radio book with owners manual

try disconnecting the negative batt wire let sit for 3 mins.reconnect batt should reset the comp.if not pull the pcm fuse from the inside batt box.and i would think that they would be nice enough to hook it 2 the comp and erase the code for u.but if ur light is on go 2 auto zone or advanced auto and have them hook it up 2 there comp and see if they could erase it for u.dont worry if your lights on they do it for free.if the above doesnt work have them check your alt.thers not many more things it could be put your wires.so check your wires .start the car and discont the negative wire from batt while running and if the car stalls its your alt.also make sure all ur wire terminals to and from batt to al are clean
