Ok well you start with the most common, obvious, and easiest to repair.
1. fuse
2. bulbs
3. bad relay
4. bad switch
5. open circuit
6. short
This is the best order to diagnose your problem with. not sure how electricly savy you are but my first test would be to check for voltage at the bulb. Get yourself a voltmeter, a test light might work but a volt meter can give you the exact reading. unplug the harness from the bulb or vise versa, have someone hold the brake down, stick your diodes into the terminals of the harness and get your reading. if no voltage pull some fuses... still nothin, my moneys on the wires...

Hi, my brake lamp stays on after turning ignition on in honda accord 1988 carb despite all brake lamps are working fine no burnt one, I appreciate your help

Majdi, if you mean the brake warning light in the dash is on after starting your car, the light is telling you there is a fault/problem with the braking system. You should not continue to drive if the brake warning light is on, as your brakes could fail. You will have to have a good shop check your brakes and diagnose problem and estimate repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

2009 honda accord brake lights not working center brake light does work

First check the brake light fuse. If this is good check the brake switch located just above the brake pedal. When the brake is pressed the switch comes out and causes the brake lights to come on. If this is the problem the cruise control should not work because the cruise system thinks the break is pressed and this is one of the ways to disengage the cruise control.

The power wire that you are looking for is green with white tracer and the ground wire is Black.

Use a test light to confirm it powers with the brake before you hook it up

Brake lights not working

Having the sa but haven't replaces the brake switch. The owner's manual for my 99 accord indicates the the fuse is located behind a panel that is viewable when you open the door on the driver's side. There is a panel that you remove (pull off) to expose the fuses. The brake light fuse is the third one from the top on the left. 7.5 A

99 HONDA ACCORD BRAKE LIGHT (DASH) KEEPS COMING ON

Open the hood and look near the firewall on the drivers side. You will see the black rubber cap on a plastic resevoir. There is a switch that turns on when the fluid level gets low. This may be your issue.
