Wont start turned off truck while in parking lot restarted but no throttle response and it wouldnt continue to run,now it wont start at all,and no oder of gasoline while trying to start the engine

either your igniter is dying or your fuel pump is dying

Could be a lot of things I would start here. If the engine is shaking at idle or not it maybe the spark plug wires. easy way to check start the truck take a spray bottle and spray a mist on the wires to see if the truck runs worst make sure you stand back while doing this so you don't get shocked.

check the battery cable for a good connection then make sure its in park move the gear shifter around and place back in park. check the head lights for full power. last thing is jump it with cables to make sure the battery is strong.

If the engine light is on.You will need to have the ECM scanned for the trouble code

May need Throttle Adaption to clear.

Try this : Turn ignition switch to run without engine running.

Leave key on for 15 to 30 seconds you should hear throttle body clicking.

Leave key in for another 45 seconds and turn off ignition remove key.

Restart engine and see if throttle response is normal and lamp out.

If this does not work, find shop with scanner to run Adaptions.

It sounds like there is a problem with the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Its job is to open and let air into the manifold when the throttle is closed at idle. If it does not open, the engine dies at idle. The IAC is mounted on the throttle body. Possibly the valve is clogged or stuck, in which case it could be ok again if it is removed and cleaned. Or it is broken, and needs to be replaced. Or, there is a problem with its electrical connection, that needs to be traced. Good luck, let me know if you have any questions.

Just a suggestion but you may want to try putting a bottle of dry gas or octane booster . You may bad gas or possibly water.
